A Visit From Cowboy Don

Cowboy Don, we are so grateful for your loving support and your prayers. You have impacted our life for Christ in a powerful way. Thank you for your visit.

Cowboy Don came to town and spent an evening visiting with my parents last week. It was refreshing to exchange a few e-mail with him as we arranged for a visit.

We met Cowboy Don at The Ranch about six years ago. It’s been three years since we saw him last. It was at The Ranch. My mom had been having trouble swallowing and had received the initial diagnosis of Bulbar Palsy the day before we were to leave for Wind River Ranch. How amazing was that?! Cowboy Don and the wonderful people of Wind River Ranch were the first to know, and the first to pray.

Cowboy Don is a the kind, compassionate man who runs the amazing Christian guest ranch in Estes Park, Colorado that we’ve had the pleasure of both visiting and working.

Cowboy Don said he would remember the special moment with mom forever. He said she was a special Wind River Ranch cowgirl and in his Hall of Fame. Cowboy Don commented on the light he saw in her eyes upon his arrival.

Mom really enjoyed a visit from Cowboy Don.
